The high-energy, live-action, feel-good football series Football Fantastics is back on CBeebies for a second series (10 x 15’), bringing even more football, comedy, songs, celebrations and imaginative adventures to screens across the UK. The series returns on Saturday 6 June.
The original Fantastics team are back at their Saturday morning football club, joined this time by two new players who bring fresh comedy, challenges and imagination to the team. This series features a trip to the Match of the Day studio, talking football boots, a ball-munching hedge, space football with real aliens, a superhero show-and-tell, a complex bucket heist, giant mascots, an adult fan band, kids-v-adults penalties and one very, very cute dog.
Made for preschool audiences and families to enjoy together, the series blends energetic storytelling with the playful spirit of grassroots football - celebrating friendship, confidence, teamwork and the joy of joining in, whether viewers already love the game or are discovering it for the first time.

Produced by Strike, Football Fantastics blends football, comedy and imaginative storytelling into an energetic family series designed to inspire a love of play, teamwork and creativity in young audiences.
Jill Scott says: “I’ve loved coming back for series two and getting to share some of my favourite football skills with the Fantastics and the audience at home. What I love about Jill’s Skills is that it’s not about being perfect. It's about encouraging kids to have a go, try new things and enjoy being active together.
"With the World Cup this summer getting everyone excited about football, it feels like such a brilliant time to encourage families to get involved and enjoy being active together. That’s what Football Fantastics is all about too, bringing people together, building confidence, having fun and showing kids that anyone can join in and give it a go.”
Kate Morton, Senior Head of Commissioning for CBeebies, says: “Football Fantastics captures everything we love at CBeebies, it’s joyful, imaginative and full of energy. This second series builds brilliantly on the first, bringing together football, comedy and creativity in a way that really connects with young audiences and families. It’s all about building confidence, teamwork and the joy of having a go. We can’t wait to welcome the Fantastics back.”
