BANKS&WAG
Award-winning British composers Chris Banks & Wag Marshall-Page are the creative musical energy behind a strikingly diverse range of popular TV series.
From their unglamorous beginnings as jingle writers for Russian margarine and Dutch compost; via stints with pop acts including Sugababes, Busted, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and McFly; the pair are now in-demand composers for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Disney, Netflix, and other global broadcasters.
Their extensive list of credits includes Royal Television Society and BAFTA award-winning television, Sony award-winning radio, Promax BDA award-winning commercials, and an array of iTunes #1 singles, plus an unlikely Japanese Billboard #1, beating Ed Sheeran and Queen to the top spot.
To the nation’s pre-schooler parents, Banks & Wag are the masterminds behind many of CBeebies’ most virulent ear-worms: the award-winning Go Jetters, ZingZillas, and the channel's annual song-filled Christmas Shows. Their experience in Children’s productions also extends to UK flagships Blue Peter, Newsround, Something Special (home of the ubiquitous Mr. Tumble); and Netflix’s Mighty Little Bheem - the platform’s most popular international release of 2019.

The pair are equally at home producing music for mainstream entertainment or comedy, lending their talents to The X Factor, National Lottery, The Mummy Diaries; to radio’s Dead Ringers and XFM Breakfast Show (for which they improvised live jingles); and to many of comedian Ross Noble’s live tours.
Their music has been performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, from the Sydney Opera House to the Royal Albert Hall; and they have written for renowned musicians including Dame Evelyn Glennie, Julian Lloyd-Webber, Nicola Benedetti, and Dame Cleo Laine - although their most notable collaboration might be with cat-suited rockers The Darkness.
Banks & Wag are based in South London. They are represented by The Composer Works, MediaCityUK.
